About Hibachi Grill | Sushi Buffet

It is listed at 5837 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917, which places it among the local businesses of Lansing that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Lansing is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Lansing is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Michigan's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Fairly good food. Nice variety and fair price. Fake mashed potatoes is one complaint but there are lots of other choices. Unfortunately buffets are vulnerable to the guests who use them. People forget basic manners like eating off from the line and not returning utensils to correct dish, and making a mess. Takeout is easy and fair as they weigh the containers as opposed to charging by the containers. Rest rooms could use cleaning and repairing a few small things like latches and sink area. But for an inexpensive lunch it's good, easy for a family, had something for everyone.

The food is always great! What you'd expect for a buffet. I have never had a problem with the service. Only thing is, last time I went it smelled like pee near where we were seated.. like it was in the carpet. It is also a little warm in there, but I can understand that.

I have been coming for like 9 years and I come for the hibachi. Now they have a guy behind there that somehow doesn't know how to heat up food better than a microwave. It's never done long enough he always has his headphones in so I cant ask him anything and today was the last time I ever waste 70$ in this place. This is the only place I go out to eat to as a treat, and I left mad for the last time. Doesn't matter they won't care about this review anyways but, I barely enjoyed it when they raised the price without adding anything to the buffet at all but after the bachi part is trash it's really not worth it. Just go someplace else there's no love in the food anymore.

Probably the best option for a true buffet style Chinese place that we found in our time in Lansing. Take that with a grain of salt though because I'm not sure Lansing has anything that I would consider as actual GOOD Chinese food. The hibachi grill is your best option here and a few of the chicken/beef dishes on the line are decent. You won't be moved and your meal won't be memorable but it will fill you up.

My sister has Crohn's and we basically have to eat Chinese buffet if I take her out to eat. Apparently Chinese cuisine and Americanized or not has the most things that she's able to eat. So we've gone to hibachi grill and sushi buffet several times. I like it because you can get sushi and pretty much whatever kind of cuisine you want. My sister likes it because she can eat the food. I will say the samurai stained glass on the bathroom doors are an interesting touch. But generally for what you pay this is a generally good restaurant to take several people to. There's something for everyone and the food is pretty good.
